Kerala became the first state in the country to ensure the proper inclusion of street vendors in the society, by issuing Identity cards to them. For rehabilitating the street vendors in a proper and effective way, it was decided to extend skill training to selected 1000 street food vendors. The training programme was conducted as part of the Recognition of Prior Learning(RPL). It has been designed to provide RPL training to 1000 street vendors this year.During the first phase, 200 street vendors from 10 Urban local Bodies were trained. The first phase training had almost been completed.

The training of the first batch was conducted at Kottayam District from 20-23 June 2018. The RPL Trainings at Alappuzha, Thodupuzha, Moovattupuzha, Thrikkakara, Kodungalloor, Wadakkanchery, Chalakkudy and Malappuram Urban Local Bodies had already been completed. The training at Koyilandy Urban Local Body would be conducted from 25-28 July 2018.

Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS), the pioneer institute for tourism and hospitality in Kerala had been extending 12 hour training to street vendors in Urban Local Bodies of the state under National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) Scheme. The trainers of the KITTS were extending training sessions in all urban Local Bodies. During the training programme the participants were exposed to the aspects such as food safety & hygiene, procurement of quality raw material, food contamination (physical, chemical and microbial), high risk foods, cross contamination, importance of safe food, quality of water/ice to be used, cleaning sanitation of utensils, effective waste/garbage disposal, table manners and etiquette, customer relation practices and basics of food safety laws. Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) would issue certificate to the participants who had successfully completed the training programme. A hand book is also issued for quick reference along with participation certificate.

A large number of street food outlets are functioning across 93 urban pockets in the state. Local flavors are being served at such roadside outlets at cheapest prices. Food borne illnesses of microbial origin are major health problem associated with such street foods and its major causes are lack of proper knowledge in safe food handling, lack of clean environment, sanitation and hygiene, mode of food display, food service, hand washing, sources of raw materials, and use of potable water. If adequate measures are followed it can be prevented. It is highly imperative to give basic exposure to street food vendors about food safety & hygiene, effective waste disposal, table manners & etiquette, customer relation practices and laws, rules & regulations for food safety. It was on the realization of the prevailing situation that the training was planned.

Prevent outbreaks of food/water-borne diseases from street food vending units, reduce the chances of spoilage of food, ensure quality of street food and health of the customers, effective waste management system for food vending units, understand basic table etiquette, customer handling techniques and enhance business potential of street food vending units, create basic understanding about the food safety laws, rules and regulations among street food vendors, brand the street food vendors in Kerala under a single brand- Kudumbashree etc are the benefits of the training programme. In the next phase trainings would be extended to more street food vendors. It is envisaged to create a clean and hygenic food culture through these trainings.

To promote the products of Kudumbashree members, Marketing team of Kudumbashree Mission conducts monthly office fairs. The office fairs were conducted at State Mission office located at Thiruvananthapuram and the Kudumbashree District Mission offices across the state.The District Missions were directed to conduct at least one fair in their districts by the Kudumbashree State Mission. A few districts took initiative to conduct the fairs at the CDS level as well. To attain more promotion for the products within the employees was the desired outcome of the programme. The office fairs were a grant success that sales of more than Rs 3 lakhs had been generated altogether.

Around 150 Kudumbashree Micro Enterprise units got benefited by the Office Mela held in the month of July 2018. Smt. Anupama T.V, District collector inaugurated the Office Mela held at Thrissur Collectorate. Thrissur District Mission came first by making maximum sales during Office trade fairs. Sales of Rs 96,870 had been generated from Thrissur. 17 Micro Enterprises Units participated at the trade fair held at Thrissur Collectorate.

A total of 18 office fairs were conducted and 49 Micro Enterprises Units participated at Wayanad. The other districts made one office trade fair each during the month. Total sales of Rs.16,500, Rs.2,950, Rs.9,110, Rs.7,880, Rs.16,600, Rs.14,160, Rs. 14,950, Rs. 96,870, Rs. 6,000, Rs. 11,420, Rs. 3,280, Rs. 67,156, Rs.15,500, Rs. 3,300 were recorded at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts respectively. A sales of Rs. 16,500 was recorded at Kudumbashree State Mission office. The office fairs undoubtedly bring in more acceptance for the Kudumbashree products.

Mazha Polima is a fallow less village Campaign being conducted by Kudumbashree Kasaragod District Mission as a part of the Mahila Kisan Sashakthikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) Agri Fest. The MKSP team of Kasargode District Mission propagates the innovative idea of this campaign. The Agri fest is being conducted in 41 Community Development Societies in Kasaragod district from 20 June 2018 to 30 July 2018. A total of 1010 Hectares of land was identified as fallow land in the district.

To convert fallow land into cultivable land, conservation of paddy land and traditional culture of farming, promotion of water literacy and food security, popularizing farming to the new generation, promotion of organic farming practices, to ensure convergence with various line department for to ensure fallow less village, promotion of the traditional farm related folk songs, games, art forms etc are the main objectives of the programme. The products of the Kudumbashree units were also kept for sale as part of the Mazha Polima campaign. As part of Mazha Polima Campaign, Community Development Societies (CDS) has also organised various innovative programmes such as District level photography competition and felicitation for women farmers etc.

The performance of the Community Development Societies participating in the campaign would be analyzed and awards would be distributed to the Best CDSs based on their performances. The CDS which converted maximum area of fallow land into cultivable land, best co-ordination, participation of the public in the campaign, documentation of the campaign, the CDS which cultivated maximum number of indigenous seeds, number of Joint Liability Groups doing cultivation in agriculture sector etc would be analysed for giving away the awards. The ethnic food festival organised as part of the Mazha Polima has been attracting more people to the campaign. The fest is becoming a model project in Kasaragod District.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സ്ത്രീ ശാക്തീകരണത്തിലൂടെ ദാരിദ്ര്യ നിര്‍മ്മാര്‍ജ്ജനമെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യം മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബശ്രീ മിഷന്‍, ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ സമൂഹത്തിലും കാതലാ യ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ വരുത്തി മുന്നേറുന്നു. പ്രത്യേക അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ രൂപീകരിച്ചും ഉപജീവന മാര്‍ ഗ്ഗം കണ്ടെത്തി നല്‍കുന്നതിന് സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭങ്ങള്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാനുള്ള പിന്തുണയേകിയും കേരളത്തിലെ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡറുകള്‍ക്ക്  പ്രതീക്ഷയുടെ പുതുനാളം നീട്ടി നല്‍കുകയാണ് കുടുംബശ്രീ മിഷന്‍. ഏതൊരു പൗരനെപ്പോലെയും ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന വര്‍ക്കും എല്ലാവിധ അവകാശങ്ങളും അവസരങ്ങളും നേടിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നതില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ പതിപ്പി ക്കുന്ന പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളാണ് കുടുംബശ്രീ നടത്തുന്നത്. ഇതിനായി പ്രത്യേക അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങ ള്‍ രൂപീകരിക്കുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു കുടുംബശ്രീയുടെ ആദ്യ ചുവടുവയ്പ്പ്.  

   ഇതുവരെ 21 ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളിലായി 274 പേര്‍ അംഗങ്ങളായിട്ടുണ്ട്. 18 വയസ്സ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയായ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍പ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഈ പ്രത്യേക അയല്‍ക്കൂ ട്ടത്തില്‍ അംഗമാകാം. സാധാരണയായി ഒരു അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ പത്ത് മുതല്‍ 20 വരെ അംഗ ങ്ങളുണ്ടാകണമെന്നാണ് നിഷ്ക്കര്‍ഷിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതെങ്കിലും ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടത്തിന് അക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഇളവ് നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പത്തില്‍ താഴെ മാത്രം അംഗങ്ങളേയുള്ളൂവെ ങ്കിലും കുടുംബശ്രീയുടെ ജില്ലാ മിഷന്‍ കോര്‍ഡിനേറ്റര്‍ക്ക് വിവേചനാധികാരം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് അയല്‍ ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ രൂപീകരിക്കാന്‍ അനുമതി നല്‍കാനാകും. ഇങ്ങനെ രൂപീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കോര്‍പ്പസ് ഫണ്ടായി 10000 രൂപയും കുടുംബശ്രീ നല്‍ കുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാനമൊട്ടാകെ ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള പ്രത്യേക അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളുടെ രൂപീകരണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ നടന്നുവരികയാണ്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലകളില്‍ മൂന്ന് വീതം ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളുണ്ട്. കൊല്ലം, ആലപ്പുഴ, എറണാകുളം, പാലക്കാട്, മലപ്പു റം എന്നീ ജില്ലകളില്‍ രണ്ട് വീതവും പത്തനംതിട്ട, കോട്ടയം, വയനാട്, കണ്ണൂര്‍, കാസര്‍കോഡ് എന്നീ ജില്ലകളില്‍ ഓരോ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ വീതവുമുണ്ട്.

ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡറുകള്‍ക്കായി 12 സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭങ്ങള്‍
ഇന്ന് സമൂഹത്തില്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍പ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ നിരവധി വെല്ലുവിളികള്‍ നേരിടുന്നുണ്ട്. സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു തൊഴില്‍ കണ്ടെത്താനോ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ യോഗ്യത അനുസരിച്ച് ഒരു ജോലിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കാനോ അവര്‍ക്ക് പലപ്പോഴും കഴിയാറില്ല. ഈ ഒരു സാഹചര്യ ത്തിലാണ് അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ട രൂപീകരണത്തില്‍ മാത്രം ഒതുങ്ങി നില്‍ക്കാതെ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക് സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു ഉപജീവന മാര്‍ഗ്ഗം കണ്ടെത്തി നല്‍കുകയും അവരെ അഭിമാനത്തോടെ ജീവിക്കാന്‍ പഠിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുമായി സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭങ്ങള്‍ രൂപീകരിച്ചു നല്‍കുന്നതിന് കുടുംബശ്രീ മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങിയത്.  ഇന്ന് സംസ്ഥാനമൊട്ടാകെ കുടും ബശ്രീയ്ക്ക് കീഴില്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ സംഘങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്ന 12 സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭങ്ങളാണു ള്ളത്. എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലും ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലും ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള മൂന്ന് വീതം സംരംഭ ങ്ങളുള്ളപ്പോള്‍ പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയില്‍ രണ്ടും കണ്ണൂര്‍, കോഴിക്കോട്, വയനാട്, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളില്‍ ഓരോന്ന് വീതം സംരംഭങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്.

കണ്ണൂരില്‍ നിന്ന് നൈസി ചിപ്സ്
കണ്ണൂരിലെ ആനക്കുളത്ത് നന്മ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ട അംഗങ്ങള്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന് രൂപീകരിച്ച ചിപ്സ് ഉത്പാ ദന യൂണിറ്റാണ് നൈസി. അഞ്ച് വ്യത്യസ്ത ചിപ്സുകള്‍ യൂണിറ്റില്‍ ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. മാസം ശരാശരി 2000 കിലോഗ്രാം ചിപ്സിന്‍റെ വില്‍പ്പന നടക്കുന്നു. സന്ധ്യ, സോണ, സ്നേഹ, മായ, സൗമിനി, അപര്‍ണ്ണ, ജാസ്മിന്‍, റീമ സതീശന്‍, സനാന, ലൈസ എന്നിവരാണ് നൈസി ചിപ്സ് യൂണിറ്റിലെ അംഗങ്ങള്‍.
കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ പുനര്‍ജ്ജനി
മോനിഷ, അലീന, ഷംന, വര്‍ഷ എന്നീ നാലംഗ സംഘമാണ് പുനര്‍ജ്ജനി ജ്യൂസ് കോര്‍ണര്‍ നടത്തുന്നത്. കുടുംബശ്രീ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള വിവിധ മേളകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്താണ് ഇവര്‍ ജ്യൂസ് വില്‍പ്പന നടത്തിയിരുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ സിവില്‍സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ വളപ്പിനുള്ളില്‍ ഒരു സ്ഥിരം ജ്യൂസ് ഷോപ്പ് തുടങ്ങാനുള്ള സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കുകയാണ് ഇവര്‍. മാസം ശരാശരി 80000 രൂപ വിറ്റുവരവുണ്ട്. ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് മാസം 10000 രൂപ സ്ഥിരമായി വരുമാനം ലഭിക്കുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാന സ്കൂള്‍ കലോത്സവത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി ജ്യൂസ് സ്റ്റോള്‍ ഇട്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് 30000 രൂപ വരെ വരുമാനം ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.

എറണാകുളത്തെ ലക്ഷ്യ
കാക്കനാട് കളക്ടറേറ്റ് വളപ്പിലുള്ള ലക്ഷ്യ ഫ്രൂട്ട്സ് ആന്‍ഡ് ജ്യൂസ് കോര്‍ണറിന്‍റെ സാരഥികള്‍ അമൃത, അനാമിക, സബിത എന്നിവരാണ്. കുടുംബശ്രീ ജില്ലാ മിഷന്‍ ഓഫീസും ഇതേ വളപ്പില്‍ തന്നെയാണ്. ഒരു പ്രത്യേക കിയോസ്കില്‍ സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജ്യൂസ് ഷോപ്പ് വഴി മാസം 70000 രൂപയുടെ കച്ചവടമാണ് നടക്കുന്നത്. എറണാകുളത്ത് എന്‍ജിഒ ക്വാര്‍ ട്ടേഴ്സില്‍ മറ്റൊരു ജ്യൂസ് ഷോപ്പും ഒരു ആഭരണ നിര്‍മ്മാണ യൂണിറ്റും ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡേഴ്സി ന്‍റേതായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു.

വയനാട്ടില്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷ ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റ്
ബ്രഹ്മഗിരി സെസൈറ്റിയുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് അഞ്ച് പേരടങ്ങിയ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ സംഘത്തിന് ഉപജീവന മാര്‍ഗ്ഗമായി ഒരു ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റ് തുറന്ന് നല്‍കാനുള്ള ആശയമാണ് കുടുംബശ്രീ വയനാട്ടില്‍ പ്രാവര്‍ത്തികമാക്കുന്നത്. അഞ്ച് പേരടങ്ങിയ സംഘം ആരംഭിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റ് വഴി കുടുംബശ്രീയുടെ വിവിധ യൂണിറ്റുകളിലെ ഉത്പന്നങ്ങളും പച്ചക്കറിയും എല്ലാം വില്‍പ്പന നടത്തും.
പത്തനംതിട്ടയില്‍ നക്ഷത്ര നൃത്തവിദ്യാലയം
പത്തനംതിട്ടയില്‍ രണ്ട് ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളാണുള്ളത്. പന്തളത്തും കൊടുമ ണ്ണിലും. ഈ രണ്ട് അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഓരോ  സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭ യൂണിറ്റുകള്‍ വീതമുണ്ട്. കൊടുമണ്ണില്‍ അഞ്ച് പേരടങ്ങിയ സംഘം ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് നൃത്തവിദ്യാലയമാണ്. ശ്യാമ പ്രസാദ്, രാഹുല്‍ രാജ്, പ്രസാദ്, സുനില്‍ കുമാര്‍, അരവിന്ദ് എന്നിവര്‍ നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കുന്ന ഈ നൃത്ത വിദ്യാലയത്തില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ നാല് കുട്ടികള്‍ പഠിക്കുന്നു. ആരംഭിച്ച് നാളുകള്‍ മാത്രം പിന്നിട്ട ഈ വിദ്യാലയം ക്രമേണ കലാ രംഗത്ത് വ്യക്തിമുദ്ര പതിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന ഉറച്ച വിശ്വാസ മാണ് നക്ഷത്രക്കൂട്ടത്തിനുള്ളത്. നൃത്ത ആവശ്യത്തിനുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങളും വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും മറ്റും വാടകയ്ക്ക് നല്‍കുന്ന സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭമാണ് പന്തളത്തുള്ളത്.
   മലപ്പുറത്ത് സ്പെക്ട്ര ബുട്ടീക്ക് എന്ന സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭ യൂണിറ്റും ആലപ്പുഴയില്‍ സാംസ് ക്കാരിക ഘോഷയാത്രകളിലും ഉത്സവ ഫ്ളോട്ടുകളിലും മറ്റും പരമ്പരാഗത കലാരൂപങ്ങളുടെ വേഷമണിയുന്ന മൂന്ന് സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭ യൂണിറ്റുകളും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു. ധ്വനി, ഫ്രണ്ട്സ്, ഭരതകല എന്നീ സൂക്ഷ്മ സംരംഭ യൂണിറ്റുകളില്‍ അഞ്ച് വീതം ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡറുകളാ ണുള്ളത്.
  ഈ സംരംഭങ്ങളെ വിവിധ മേളകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ നിരന്തരം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ച് ആ യൂണിറ്റുകള്‍ക്ക് മറ്റൊരു പ്രധാന വിപണി തുറന്ന് കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു കുടുംബശ്രീ. സരസ് മേളകളിലും ഭക്ഷ്യ മേളകളിലും മറ്റും സ്ഥിര സാന്നിധ്യമാണ് കണ്ണൂരിലെ നൈസി ചിപ്സും കോഴിക്കോടെ പുനര്‍ജനി ജ്യൂസ് യൂണിറ്റും. നൈസി ചിപ്സ് ഡല്‍ഹി, മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര, രാജസ്ഥാന്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നടന്ന സരസ് മേളകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. നേരത്തേ കൊച്ചി മെട്രോയില്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ സമൂഹത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് കുടുംബശ്രീ ഫെസിലിറ്റി മാനേ ജ്മെന്‍റ് സെന്‍റര്‍ വഴി ജോലി നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. ട്രാന്‍സ്ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ജോലി നല്‍കിയ ആദ്യത്തെ മെട്രോയെന്ന നേട്ടവും ഇതോടെ കൊച്ചി മെട്രോയ്ക്ക് കൈവ ന്നിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ് ജെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള 14 പേര്‍ കൊച്ചി മെട്രോയില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു.

സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ നാനാതുറകളില്‍ മുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ച കുടുംബശ്രീ, റൊഹിങ്ക്യന്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കും സഹായഹസ്തം നീട്ടി. കോഴിക്കോട് നിന്നുള്ള കുടുംബശ്രീ സംഘം ഡല്‍ഹിയിലെ റൊഹിങ്ക്യന്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥി ക്യാമ്പില്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തി, 500 ജോടി വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും 30 ചാക്ക് ഭക്ഷ്യ ധാന്യങ്ങളുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള അവശ്യ വസ്തുക്കളും വിതരണം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. കൂടാതെ ഇവര്‍ക്ക് നൈപുണ്യ പരിശീലന പരിപാടിയും ഉടന്‍ ആരംഭിക്കും. കുടുംബശ്രീയുടെ എക്‌സാഥ് ട്രെയ്‌നിങ് ടീം തയ്യല്‍, സോപ്പ് നിര്‍മ്മാണം, മെഴുകുതിരി നിര്‍മ്മാണം, തുണി- പേപ്പര്‍ ബാഗ് നിര്‍മ്മാണം എന്നിവയിലാണ് പരിശീലനം നല്‍കുക.

  കോഴിക്കോട് കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ കുടുംബശ്രീ മെമ്പര്‍ സെക്രട്ടറിയായ റംസി ഇസ്‌മൈലിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ 13 അംഗ സംഘമാണ് ജൂണ്‍ 28 മുതല്‍ ജൂലൈ രണ്ട് വരെയുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥി ക്യാമ്പില്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തിയത്.  കാളിന്ദി കുഞ്ജിലെ 54, ഫരീദാബാദിലെ 38, മജൂദിഗാവിലെ 42, മിര്‍സാപുരിലെ 17 വീതം കുടുംബങ്ങളെയാണ് സംഘം സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചത്. സിഡിഎസ് അധ്യക്ഷമാരും എക്‌സാഥ് ട്രെയിനിങ് സെന്റര്‍ അംഗങ്ങളും സംഘത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

  കോഴിക്കോട് കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനും കുടുംബശ്രീ ജില്ലാ മിഷനും ചേര്‍ന്ന് സംയുക്തമായി ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന മഹിളാ മാള്‍ വഴിയാകും നൈപുണ്യ പരിശീലനം വഴി നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്ന ഉത്പന്നങ്ങള്‍ വിറ്റഴിക്കുക. അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥി ക്യാമ്പില്‍ കുടിവെള്ളം, ശൗചാലയ സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍, മെഡിക്കല്‍ ക്യാമ്പ് എന്നിവ നടത്തുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥി കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് അടിസ്ഥാന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നല്‍കേണ്ടതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യ, കുടുംബക്ഷേമ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് കുടുംബശ്രീ സംഘം നിവേദനവും നല്‍കി.

കേരള സ്‌റ്റേറ്റ് ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്‌സ് ഡെവലപ്പ്‌മെന്റ് കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ ലിമിറ്റഡില്‍ (കെല്‍ട്രോണ്‍) 25 കുടുംബശ്രീ വനിതകള്‍ക്ക് ജോലി നല്‍കും. 24 കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ഓപ്പറേറ്റര്‍മാരുടെയും ഒരു ക്ലീനിങ് സ്റ്റാഫിന്റെയും ഒഴിവിലേക്ക് കുടുംബശ്രീ അംഗങ്ങളായ സ്ത്രീകളില്‍ നിന്ന് അപേക്ഷ ക്ഷണിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. 39 പേര്‍ അപേക്ഷ നല്‍കി. അവരില്‍ നിന്ന് അഭിമുഖം വഴി 25 പേരെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ഓഗസ്റ്റ് ഒന്നോട് നിയമനം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. എറണാകുളം കാക്കനാട്ടെ കെല്‍ട്രോണിന്റെ ഓട്ടോമേറ്റഡ് എന്‍ഫോഴ്‌സ്‌മെന്റ് കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ റൂമിലാകും നിയമനം.

  25 ഒഴിവുകളുണ്ടെന്ന കാര്യം കെല്‍ട്രോണില്‍ നിന്ന് കുടുംബശ്രീയില്‍ അറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എസ്എസ്എല്‍സി യോഗ്യതയുള്ള ടൈപ്പ്‌റൈറ്റിങ് അറിയാവുന്ന കുറഞ്ഞത് ആറ് മാസമെങ്കിലും ഡേറ്റ എന്‍ട്രി ജോലി ചെയ്ത് പരിചയമുള്ളവരില്‍ നിന്നാണ് കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ഓപ്പറേറ്റര്‍ ജോലിക്കായി അപേക്ഷ ക്ഷണിച്ചത്. ഇതനുസരിച്ചുള്ള 39 പേരുടെ ലിസ്റ്റാണ് കുടുംബശ്രീ കെല്‍ട്രോണിന് നല്‍കിയത്. രാവിലെ 6 മുതല്‍ ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് 2 വരെയും ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് 2 മുതല്‍ രാത്രി പത്ത് വരെയുമുള്ള രണ്ട് ഷിഫ്റ്റുകളിലാണ് ജോലി. കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ഓപ്പറേറ്റര്‍ക്ക് 13979 രൂപയും ക്ലീനിങ് സ്റ്റാഫിന് 12318 രൂപയുമാണ് ശമ്പളം. കൂടാതെ ഇഎസ്‌ഐ, പിഎഫ് ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങളും നല്‍കും.

  ഐടി മേഖലയില്‍ ഡേറ്റ എന്‍ട്രി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ നിരവധി പേര്‍ക്ക് കുടുംബശ്രീ പരിശീലനം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. നോര്‍ക്ക, മോട്ടോര്‍ വെഹിക്കിള്‍ ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റ്, ഇന്‍ഷ്വറന്‍സ്, രജിസ്‌ട്രേഷന്‍ ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ ഈ പരിശീലനം നേടിയ നിരവധി കുടുംബശ്രീ വനിതകള്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്.

Kudumbashree received work order from Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorie, India’s premier institution dedicated to train Officers of the country’s higher civil services. The order is received for supplying 2300 handmade toilet soaps. Kudumbashree had sent toilet soap samples of different fragrances to Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorie. It is after that they placed the order for 2300 handmade toilet soaps. The orders are placed Turmeric, Pappaya, Rose and Sandal fragrances.

As per the order Kudumbashree will supply toilet soap bars of 40 gm weight. The Eladi Soap Unit from Elambakappally, Perumbavoor, Ernakulam would supply the soaps. Eladi Soap Unit had participated in several trade fairs inside and outside Kerala and their product had received wide acceptance among the customers. The soap is also available at kudumbashreebazaar.com, Kudumbashree's online portal. Kudumbashree would deliver the order to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorie by August 2018.

Soccer Shree, the Quiz Competition conducted by Kudumbashree exclusively for Kudumbashree women adds to the Football fever. World Club Foot Ball was the theme for the quiz competition. The Quiz competition was conducted on 22 June 2018 in connection with the Reading Week observance. The Competition was conducted to ensure the participation of common women in celebrating the World Cup Foot Ball Championship. The competition underlined the fact that 'Nothing is impossible to women'. The programme envisioned to encourage the reading habits and interest in sports activities among women as well. Smt. EP. Latha, Mayor, Kannur Corporation inaugurated the Soccer Shree Quiz Competition. K. Jisha and Sumangala from Peralassery CDS came first in the Soccer Shree Quiz Competition. K.Shijina and O.Nimina from Mattannoor CDS came second and Shanthakumari and Haritha of Keezhaloor CDS came in third place.

Only one team per CDS was allowed to participate in the competition. Micro Enterprises Consultants, Kudumbashree Accounts & Audit Service Society Members, Gender Resource Persons, Balasabha Resource Persons etc were considered for participating in the Quiz Competition. As the participation was beyond expectation, it is sure that the upcoming seasons would be more colourful.

By issuing Identity cards Kerala became the first state in the country to ensure the proper inclusion of street vendors in the society. For rehabilitating the street vendors in a proper and effective way new programmes are to be implemented. And as a part of this it was decided to extend skill training to selected 1000 street food vendors. The training programme is being conducted as part of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). It has been designed to provide RPL training to 1000 street vendors this year.During the first phase 200 street vendors from 10 Urban local Bodies would be trained.

The training of the first batch was started at Kottayam District on 20 June 2018. Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS), the pioneer institute for tourism and hospitality in Kerala would extend 12 hour training to street vendors in Urban Local Bodies of the state under National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) Scheme. In the proposed training programme the participants will be exposed to the aspects such as food safety & hygiene, procurement of quality raw material, food contamination (physical, chemical and microbial), high risk foods, cross contamination, importance of safe food, quality of water/ice to be used, cleaning sanitation of utensils, effective waste/garbage disposal, table manners and etiquette, customer relation practices and basics of food safety laws.

On successful completion of the training, Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) will issue certificate to the participants. A hand book would also be issued for quick reference along with participation certificate. Prevent outbreaks of food/water-borne diseases from street food vending units, reduce the chances of spoilage of food, ensure quality of street food and health of the customers, effective waste management system for food vending units, understand basic table etiquette, customer handling techniques and enhance business potential of street food vending units, create basic understanding about the food safety laws, rules and regulations among street food vendors, brand the street food vendors in Kerala under a single brand- Kudumbashree etc are the proposed benefits of the training programme.

A large number of street food outlets are functioning across 93 urban pockets in the state. Local flavors are being served at such roadside outlets at cheapest prices. Food borne illnesses of microbial origin are major health problem associated with such street foods and its major causes are lack of proper knowledge in safe food handling, lack of clean environment, sanitation and hygiene, mode of food display, food service, hand washing, sources of raw materials, and use of potable water. If adequate measures are followed it can be prevented. It is highly imperative to give basic exposure to street food vendors about food safety & hygiene, effective waste disposal, table manners & etiquette, customer relation practices and laws, rules & regulations for food safety. It was on the realization of the prevailing situation that the training was planned.
