തിരുവനന്തപുരം: എല്‍.ഡി.എഫ് സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‍റെ രണ്ടാം വാര്‍ഷികത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച്  ഇന്‍ഫര്‍മേഷന്‍ ആന്‍ഡ് പബ്ളിക് റിലേഷന്‍സ് വകുപ്പിന്‍റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ സംസ്ഥാനമൊട്ടാകെ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഉല്‍പന്ന പ്രദര്‍ശന വിപണന മേളകളില്‍ നിന്നും കുടുംബശ്രീ സംരംഭകര്‍ നേടിയത് 1.24 കോടി രൂപയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവ്. ആകെ 368 സ്റ്റാളുകളിലായി മൂവായിരത്തിലേറെ സംരംഭകരുടെ ഉല്‍പന്നങ്ങളാണ് മേളയില്‍ വിറ്റഴിഞ്ഞത്.      

തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രമാണിച്ച് ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയൊഴികെ ബാക്കി ജില്ലകളിലെല്ലാം മേള സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. കുടുംബശ്രീ യൂണിറ്റുകള്‍ ഉല്‍പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഭക്ഷ്യവസ്തുക്കള്‍, കരകൗശല വസ്തുക്കള്‍, ഗാര്‍മെന്‍റ്സ്, ടോയ്ലെറ്ററീസ്, വിവിധതരം കറി പൗഡറുകള്‍, അച്ചാറുകള്‍, ജാമുകള്‍, സ്ക്വാഷ് എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാനമായും വിപണനത്തിച്ചത്. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ സ്റ്റാളുകള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചത് പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലാണ്. 45 എണ്ണം. പത്തനംതിട്ട, തൃശൂര്‍, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകള്‍ 40 വീതം സ്റ്റാളുകളുമായി മേളയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഏഴു ദിവസത്തെ മേളയില്‍ നിന്നും 25 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുമായി ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ വിറ്റുവരവ് നേടിയത് പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയാണ്. 15 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവുമായി തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ല രണ്ടാമതും 14 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവുമായി തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ല മൂന്നാമതും എത്തി. ഏഴു ദിവസത്തെ മേളയില്‍ നിന്നും 1.24 കോടി രൂപയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവാണ് മേളയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത യൂണിറ്റ് അംഗങ്ങള്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയത്.

ഉല്‍പന്ന പ്രദര്‍ശന വിപണന മേളയോടൊപ്പം പതിമൂന്ന് ജില്ലകളിലും  കഫേ കുടുംബശ്രീയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ഫുഡ് കോര്‍ട്ടും സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആകെ 71 യൂണിറ്റുകളായി മുന്നൂറോളം വനിതകളാണ് ഇതില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍-കൊച്ചി-മലബാര്‍ രുചികളെ കോര്‍ത്തിണക്കി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഫുഡ്കോര്‍ട്ട് ഭക്ഷണപ്രേമികള്‍ സജീവമാക്കിയതു വഴി 39,54,572 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവ് നേടാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫുഡ്കോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ നിന്നും ഏഴു ലക്ഷം രൂപയുമായി ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍  വിറ്റുവരവ് നേടിയത് കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയാണ്.  5.83 ലക്ഷം നേടി തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ല രണ്ടാമതും 5.64 ലക്ഷം രൂപ നേടി എറണാകുളം ജില്ല മൂന്നാമതും എത്തി.
ജില്ലാതലത്തില്‍ മികച്ച സ്റ്റാളുകള്‍ക്കുള്ള പി.ആര്‍.ഡിയുടെ പുരസ്കാരവും കുടുംബശ്രീക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. മികച്ച സ്റ്റാളിനുള്ള പ്രത്യേക പുരസകാരം വയനാട് ജില്ലാമിഷനും വകുപ്പിതര വിഭാഗത്തിലെ മികച്ച സ്റ്റാളിനുള്ള അവാര്‍ഡ് കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലാമിഷനും ലഭിച്ചു. സമഗ്ര മികവിനുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലാമിഷനും രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലാമിഷനുമാണ്. മികച്ച പങ്കാളിത്തത്തിനുളള പുരസ്കാരം ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലാമിഷനും നേടി.

Honey jack, a venture from Kothamangalam producing value added products from Jack fruit is being a big hit. A group of 5 youth from Kothamangalam municipality of Ernakulam district started an enterprise with the value addition of Jack fruit and branded the same. Launched on 1 January 2018, the unit is producing different products made out of Jack fruit and branded the product as Honey Jack. They are producing jack fruit Jam, jack fruit chips, jack fruit puttu powder, jack fruit avalosunda, jack fruit coffee powder, jack fruit chutney, jack fruit murukku, dry jack, jack fruit pickle, jack fruit pulp, ripe jack fruit vacuum fried chips etc. The unit is also making jack fruit pulps, passion fruit pulps, jack fruit juice, passion fruit juice, guava juice, mango juice, water melon juice, pineapple juice and grape juice, lime ginger squash, birds eye chilly squash, gooseberry- birds eye chilly mixed squash and nutmeg candy as well.

The team include 5 members. Jithesh P Cherian is the Chairman of the unit. Jaison Chacko, Georgekutty Peter, Anoop Manoharan and Jismon Joseph are the other members of the unit. The team wanted to launch an enterprise that was unique and has viability under NULM project. When they came to know about the NULM project, they approached the City Mission Management Unit (CMMU) and discussed their idea on value addition of Jack fruit. As a result, they attended the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) & skill from accredited agencies and submitted project before the task force.

Initially,the banks didn’t sanction loan for the group and later Indian Overseas Bank sanctioned Rs.10 lakhs as loan. They availed a shop on rent and started the unit. The unit participated in different food fests and Kudumbashree exhibitions which resulted in developing the brand name and able to generate more orders from outside the Urban Local Body. The unit is having an average sales of Rs 2.5 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs a month. The unit is marketing their products in 3 districts and is planning to conduct Jack fruit fest in the Urban Local Body to sensitize the various products that can be produced using Jack fruit. The unit is one of new enterprise model of the Urban Local Body. Jackfruit was designated state fruit by Government of Kerala in 2018.

* കുടുംബശ്രീ സംസ്ഥാനതല ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റും ഓപ്പണ്‍ ഫോറവും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സമൂഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും ചുറ്റുപാടുകളെക്കുറിച്ചുമുള്ള ജ്ഞാനമാണ് ഏറ്റവും മഹത്താ യ ജ്ഞാനമെന്നും നന്നായി പഠിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം ചുറ്റുപാടുകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ബോധവും ഓരോ വിദ്യാ ര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുമുണ്ടായിരിക്കണമെന്നും തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ഡോ. കെ.ടി. ജലീല്‍. കുടുംബശ്രീ ബാലസഭയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ പഴയ നിയമസഭ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ അസംബ്ലി ഹാളില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. വിദ്യ അഭ്യസിക്കുന്നത് പാഠപുസ്തകത്തിലെ അറിവ് സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നതിനല്ല മറിച്ച് നല്ല മനുഷ്യരായി തീരുന്നതിനാണെന്നും മാറ്റത്തിന്‍റെ മെഴുകുതിരി സ്വന്തം മനസ്സില്‍ കൊളുത്തി ആ പ്രകാശം രാജ്യാതിര്‍ത്തിക്കുമപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് ഓരോ കുട്ടികളും പരത്തണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യ പ്പെട്ടു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തോടൊപ്പം നല്ല സംസ്ക്കാരവും വച്ചു പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നവരാണ് നല്ല ജനപ്രതിനി ധികളെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വൈവിധ്യം അതേപടി കാത്ത് സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന് ഓരോ പൗരനും ചുമതലയുണ്ട്, എല്ലാവരേയും ഒന്നായി കാണുന്ന ദര്‍ശനം മാത്രമേ ശാശ്വത മായിരിക്കൂയെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

   പുതു തലമുറയില്‍പ്പെട്ട കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ജനാധിപത്യ സംവിധാനത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രധാന്യവും വ്യാപ്തിയും മനസ്സിലാക്കി നല്‍കുന്നതിനും ഭരണഘടനാ സംവിധാനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അവബോധമുണ്ടാക്കി നല്‍കു ന്നതിനുമായാണ് ബാലസഭ അംഗങ്ങളായ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി കുടുംബശ്രീ 2007 മുതല്‍ ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച് വരുന്നത്. ജില്ലാ, സംസ്ഥാനതലങ്ങളില്‍ കുട്ടികള്‍ നേരിടുന്ന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും പ്രതിസന്ധികളും ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വകുപ്പ് പ്രതിനിധിക ളുമായി സംവദിച്ചു പരിഹാരം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത് ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ള ഓപ്പണ്‍ ഫോറം ഇതാദ്യമായി ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പില്‍ നിന്ന് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പ്രസന്ന കുമാരി, വനം വകുപ്പില്‍ നിന്ന് സി. രാജേന്ദ്രന്‍ ഐഎഫ്എസ് (ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കണ്‍സര്‍വേറ്റര്‍ ഓഫ് ഫോറസ്റ്റ്), എക്സൈസ് വകുപ്പില്‍ നിന്ന് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി എക്സൈസ് കമ്മീഷണര്‍ ജി. മുരളീധരന്‍ നായര്‍, ബാലാവകാശ കമ്മീഷന്‍ ആക്ടിങ് ചെയര്‍പേഴ്സണ്‍ സി.ജെ. ആന്‍റണി, കുടുംബക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ഡോ. കെ. സന്ദീപ് എന്നിവര്‍ ഓപ്പണ്‍ ഫോറത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി അതാത് വകുപ്പുകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കുട്ടികളുടെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മറുപടി നല്‍കി.

  കോഴിക്കോട് ഒഴികെയുള്ള 13 ജില്ലകളില്‍ നിന്നായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട 131 കുട്ടികള്‍ ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ആദ്യ ദിനത്തില്‍ സെന്‍റര്‍ ഫോര്‍ പാര്‍ലമെന്‍ററി സ്റ്റഡീസ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സെക്രട്ടറി സുരേഷ് കുമാര്‍ ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് എന്ത്, എന്തിന്, എങ്ങനെ എന്ന വിഷയത്തില്‍ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ക്ലാസ് നല്‍കി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് കുട്ടികളെ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളായി തിരിച്ച് അവരില്‍ നിന്ന് 20 കുട്ടികളെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. പ്രസിഡന്‍റ്, പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, സ്പീക്കര്‍, പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ്, വിവിധ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രിമാര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ ചുമതലകള്‍ അവരെ ഏല്‍പ്പിച്ചു. മന്ത്രിസഭയും അംഗങ്ങളും ചേര്‍ന്ന പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് യോഗമാണ് സംസ്ഥാന ബാല പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റായി പഴയ നിയമസഭാ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ അസംബ്ലി ഹാളില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഇതിന് ശേഷം കുട്ടികളെ പുതിയ നിയമസഭാ മന്ദിര സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് കൊണ്ടുപോ കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

  കുടുംബശ്രീ പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസര്‍ (സാമൂഹ്യ വികസനം) ജി.എസ്. അമൃത ഉദ്ഘാടന സമ്മേളന ത്തില്‍ സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. കുടുംബശ്രീ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലാ മിഷന്‍ കോര്‍ഡിനേറ്റര്‍ ഡോ. കെ.ആര്‍. ഷൈജു നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു. കുട്ടികളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങള്‍ ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്നതിനായി കുടുംബശ്രീ

രൂപീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള കുട്ടികളുടെ അയല്‍ക്കൂട്ടമാണ് ബാലസഭ. വിനോദങ്ങളിലൂടെ വിജ്ഞാന സമ്പാദനം, സംഘബോധം, നേതൃത്വ ശേഷി, സഹകരണ മനോഭാവം, അവകാശാധിഷ്ഠിത പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളിലൂടെ ജനാ ധിപത്യബോധം, സര്‍ഗ്ഗശേഷി, വ്യക്തിത്വ വികസനം, പരിസ്ഥിതി ബോധം തുടങ്ങിയ മൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ കുട്ടികളില്‍ വളര്‍ത്തിയെടുക്കുകയാണ് ബാലസഭയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.  

Safari Driving School of Malappuram cannot be considered a mere driving school. It bears the saga of a woman who dare to make a difference through her life. Smt.Rejina from Malappuram and her team are engaged in providing training to women who wanted to learn driving or to get driving as a means of livelihood. The concept of Women drivers or driving teachers was not at all acceptable in a district like Malappuram. It was during such a period that Smt. Rejina came forward boldly to start her driving school. The women were usually reluctant to get into the field due to the existing social conditions. Smt. Rejina came into the sector boldly availing linkage loan from Kudumbashree Mission. Her efforts soon became successful with the highlight that its a woman who had been teaching driving to other women. This made her driving school ‘Safari driving school’ even more famous.

Smt. Rejina teaches women to ride two-wheeler and four-wheeler and helps them in getting the license and thereby she helped women to acquire driving skill at affordable cost. She conceived the idea from the awareness session of City Mission Management Unit of NULM to utilize the linkage loan for income generation activity alongside personal consumption. She is proud that she has been able to provide training to 128 women so far and is earning Rs. 40,000 per month and is having the confidence to repay the amount within three years. She is also able to avail interest subsidy. Smt. Rejina is one of the best examples of women entrepreneurship as she chose a sector where many women were afraid to attempt.
