Kudumbashree Award: State Level Selection Workshop begins at Thrissur

The State Level 'Kudumbashree Award' Selection Workshop began at Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) Headquarters Mulagunnathukavu, Thrissur on 21 April 2025. The selection activities for the state level awards in the categories of Best CDS (Social Development, Gender), Best NHG, Best Oorusamithi, Best BUDS Institution and Best Entrepreneurial Group were held on the first day of the Award Selection Workshop. On the second day of the workshop, presentations were made for the best CDS (convergence programmes, unique activities, governance-microfinance activities), Best Auxiliary Group, Best Entrepreneur, Best CDS (tribal activities), and Best Gender Resource Centres. The awarding process will continue till 26 April 2025. The award distribution will also be organized on 17 May 2025 in connection with Kudumbashree Day.
 
Through Kudumbashree Award it is aimed to evaluate and recognize the best work in various fields with the aim of providing energy and inspiration to the activities of the Kudumbashree system from the grassroots, including the three-tier organizational structure. State-Level Awards are given in a total of 17 categories.
 
Awards will be given for Best Neighborhood Group, ADS, Oorusamithi, Enterprise Group, Entrepreneur, BUDS Institution, Gender Resource Centre, Auxiliary Group, Auxiliary Enterprise, Snehitha Gender Help Desk, District that has carried out best Public Relations activities, Best District Mission, Best CDS (Convergence Activities, Unique Activities, Administration- Microfinance Activities), Best CDS (Agriculture Sector, Animal Husbandry), Best CDS (Social Development, Gender), Best CDS (Tribal Activities) and Best CDS (Micro Enterprise, DDU-GKY, K-DISC).

Another special feature is that for the remaining awards, except for the Best District Mission, District that has carried out Best Public Relations activities, Best Snehitha Gender Help Desk and Best BUDS Institution, the representatives of the three-tier organization system who have won district-level awards from 14 districts will make presentations at the workshop.
