The logo of the Unified Local Self-Government Department was released by Minister MV Govindan master today. The Local Self-Government Common Service Bill was passed by the Legislative Assembly yesterday.
The Unified Local Self-Government Department was implemented with the aim of providing services to the people more efficiently, quickly and corruption-free. The existing departments of Panchayat, Rural Development, Urban Affairs, Local Self-Government Engineering Department and Town and Country Planning were coordinated in the state. Empowerment of local bodies is essential to effectively deliver the government's activities to the people. As a part of it, five departments of the same nature were coordinated.
Local Self-Government Common Service is a system that is not born to rule, but a system that is bound to serve. It is up to the people and their representatives in the local government to ensure that it remains so. Let's make our local governments stronger
