The members of Kudumbashree Balasabha members received a letter yesterday from M.B Rajesh, Minister for Local Self Governments, Rural Development, Town Planning, Regional Development Authorities, Excise, KILA and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Kerala, inviting them to 'Kudumbashree Mind Blowers Liora Fest'. The Minister invited the children to the Balasabha Camps which are starting with elections on 8 April 2025. The name given to this year's camp is 'Kudumbashree Mind Blowers Liora Fest' and it means that everyone should recognize the light within themselves. He added.
The Minister mentioned that through the Balasabha Mind Blowers that was started last year, we have been able to form innovative ideas for children. He added that Kudumbashree will provide all kinds of assistance to implement the best ideas selected at the state level among the innovative ideas prepared by each Balasabha member. Camps will be organized in all Balasabhas, wards, blocks and then at the district level.
According to him, as the Minister in charge of Kudumbashree, he is proud of the fact that the 'Sajjam', 'Suchithwolsavam, and the International Children's Summit on Zero Waste Management organized as part of the Suchithwolsavam 2.0 are activities that have proven the excellence of the work of Kudumbashree Balasabha. He also congratulated the Balasabha members who participated in those programmes.
He also alerted the children about the concerns that are happening in our society about which they are aware through newspapers and other media. He advised them not to allow anyone to carry out any activity that is harmful to us and our community and he added that we would defeat such activities together.
The Minister encouraged the children to participate in the activities that are being conducted as the initial activity of the Balasabha camp and advised them to try to involve friends who are not members of Balasabhas. He mentioned that through these camps, we can not only find the light within ourselves but also spread the light of goodness to the society. He concluded his letter by encouraging the children to become better citizens of tomorrow and those who work for the betterment of the society.
